Properties:
The squirrel-cage asynchronous motor is protected against overload with three thermobimetal switches (PTO) in the motor windings. The agitators are equipped with IE3 motor components. |
To prevent ambient liquid from entering, the SMG submersible agitators have two FKM radial lip seals and a ceramic-coated wear bush as well as a mechanical seal made of silicon carbide/silicon carbide or tungsten carbide/tungsten carbide, depending on the size. The sealing surfaces of the second mechanical seal, which is located between the gearbox and the engine, are made of synthetic carbon/aluminium oxide. . |
The oil-filled gearbox housing is monitored for possible water ingress by a leakage sensor fitted as standard in the gearbox. The sensor can trigger an alarm signal and/or shut down the motor using an external Grundfos relay type ALR-20/A. |
