Features of the Iwaki MDW
Process pump series
The Iwaki MDW process pumps offer flow rates of up to 300 m3/h at a head of 98m with high efficiency. A high manufacturing accuracy of the components and high resistance against aggressive chemicals are the main features of the Iwaki MDW pump series. The largest series of magnetically driven plastic centrifugal pumps from Iwaki complies with the ISO standard ISO2858, 3661 and can therefore be replaced with existing standard pumps and other pumps. Due to a stable and pressure-resistant triple-layer construction, the MDW centrifugal pumps can guarantee trouble-free operation even under difficult operating conditions.
These pumps are subject to legal export restrictions for safety reasons.
For this reason, Iwaki will not submit a quotation without a correctly completed End-Use Statement

System can be pulled out to the rear
The rearward pull-out system allows easy maintenance and inspection of the pump without having to disconnect the piping. Integrated components and the sealed rear housing support structure make it possible to replace the motor without leakage.

Rugged construction
The use of a high-strength die-cast housing is mandatory for high-performance chemical process applications. A unique design of the rear housing including triple-layer ensures high compressive strength and even load distribution. A special metal axle is used to absorb the high radial forces while ensuring continuous operation even under the most difficult conditions.
