The pumps of the MD series are compact, leakage-free magnetic drive pumps, which are highly appreciated worldwide. Due to the compact design, the MD series is ideally suited for installation in machines and equipment. Applications include automatic photo processors and a wide range of analysis equipment. The combination of the MD-F series with CFRETFE wet ends and the MD-V series with CFRPVDF wet ends covers most chemicals including strong acids/bases.

Viscosity compatibility

The MD-F series was developed for slightly viscous media as well as for strong acids. There are three different types of impellers, which can be used according to requirements.

Principle of operation

A pair of magnets, which is connected to the impeller or motor shaft, drives the pump. The seal-less design eliminates the need for maintenance on the shaft/mechanical seal. The pump chamber is completely shielded by the housing construction. The frictional connection of the magnetic coupling ensures excellent transmission of the motor torque.
