The pump from the DMX series is a versatile diaphragm metering pump designed as a positive displacement pump. The diaphragm is mechanically connected to the highly efficient AC motor via a high-precision eccentric tappet gear. The dosing quantity is adjusted by changing the stroke length, which can be set at a ratio of 1:10 on the stroke length adjustment knob. Applies only to pumps with ATEX approval: The dosing pump DMX 226 is approved for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres in accordance with ATEX Directive 94/9/EC. The requirements for non-electrical equipment apply to the pumps themselves. The motors of the EEx-e and EEx-d versions are certified by the manufacturer (Grundfos/Alldos) in accordance with the ATEX directives that apply to electrical equipment. The information on the motor nameplate complies with the ATEX standards.
