The DLX pump series is a proven PTFE diaphragm solenoid metering pump with a wide range of control options. Since its introduction to the market, the DLX pump series has proven its reliability and quality. It is the ideal solution for many chemical dosing applications where moderate flow at back pressures up to 20 bar (290 PSI) is required.
Main features:
They are either wall (DLX) or foot mounted (DLXB)
Installation options available.liquid low level option available to prevent dry running
A flashing LED indicates the stroke frequency of the pump.
Manual venting head made of polypropylene for safe and easy venting with durable, leak-free venting valve arrangement.
The membranes are of superior construction, robust PTFE machine part without composite layers, A wide range of chemicals can be pumped due to a variety of liquid end materials, including glass-filled polypropylene (GFPPL), PVC, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), PTFE, Plexiglas and 316SS. Valves and seals are available in FPM (Viton), EPDM (neutral), nitrile, silicone, ceramic and alloys.
Immediate installation and start-up, standard accessories on all models include an injection/counter pressure valve assembly and a foot valve/sieve assembly, including pressure, suction and venting hose.
Safe and easy bleeding and maintenance of the valve, a bleed valve assembly including return hose is included as a standard accessory (only available on models with manual bleed head) Panel protection is provided by an adhesive polyester film which is weatherproof and UV-resistant.
Function Dosing pump DLX pH-Rx-CL/MThe dosing pumps DLX-DLXB pH-Rx-Cl/M are activated by a PTFE diaphragm mounted on a piston of an electromagnet. When current is applied to the piston of the electromagnet, a pressure is generated in the pump head, which causes liquid to be discharged from the outlet valve. After each pump pulse has ended, a spring returns the piston to its original position, allowing the liquid to be recalled by the suction valve.
Operation is simple and the pump requires no lubrication, so maintenance is reduced to almost zero. The DLX-DLXB pH-Rx-Cl/M dosing pumps are microcontroller dosing pumps with pH, RX (mV), free chlorine control and control meter. Backlit LCD display, ON/OFF proportional modes, 0÷14pH; -1000÷+1400mV; 0÷2, 20, 200 ppm free chlorine measuring range
Additional functions: 4÷20mA output, free voltage relay alarm output. Manual/automatic temperature compensation 0÷100°C, proximity switch. Input for level switch.
The service output relay is activated whenever the pump has an alarm.
100% corresponds to the maximum stroke frequency, i.e. 120 strokes/min. The stroke rate allows a very high rate of reproducible dosing accuracy.

The flow rate of the pump depends on the back pressure in the discharge line (please check the flow rate compared to the discharge diaphragm) and on the physical properties of the chemical to be dosed. Usually the pump flow rate is higher if the counter pressure is lower.
