The DLX pump range is a proven PTFE diaphragm solenoid metering pump that features a wide range of control options. Since its market launch, the DLX pump series has proven its reliability and quality. It is the ideal solution for many chemical metering applications where moderate flow is required at back pressures up to 20 bar (290 PSI).
Main features:
Pump casing made of acid-resistant, mica-filled, reinforced polypropylene.Excellent water resistance for heavy-duty use. Pump protection: IP65.
.
There are either wall (DLX) or foot (DLXB) installation options available
.
Liquid low option available to prevent dry running.A flashing LED indicates the stroke frequency of the pump.
Manual polypropylene vent head for safe and easy venting with durable, leak-free vent valve assembly.
.
Diaphragms are of superior construction, robust PTFE machine partwithout composite layers, for optimum flexibility and long service life.
A variety of chemicals can be pumped due to different liquid end materials, including glass-filled polypropylene (GFPPL), PVC, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), PTFE, Plexiglas and 316SS. Valves and seals made of FPM (Viton), EPDM (neutral), nitrile, silicone, ceramic and alloys.
.
Instant installation and commissioning, included as standard accessories on all models are an injection/back pressure valve assembly and a foot valve/sieve assembly, including pressure, suction and bleed hoses.
.
Safe and easy valve venting and maintenance, a vent valve assembly including return hose is included as a standard accessory (only available on models with manual vent head). Panel protection is provided by an adhesive polyester film that is weatherproof and UV resistant.
Function Dosing pump DLX MF/MThe DLX-DLXB VFT/MBB dosing pumps are activated by a PTFE diaphragm mounted on a piston of an electromagnet. When the plunger of the electromagnet is attracted, a pressure is created in the pump body at which the liquid is expelled from the outlet valve. At the end of each pump impulse, a spring returns the piston to its original position and the liquid is returned via the suction valve. Operation is simple, the pump does not require lubrication, so maintenance is reduced to almost zero.
The dosing pump DLX VFT/MBB is a microcontrolled unit suitable for operation in proportional contact with free voltage (reed) normally generated by a water meter.
DLX VFT/MBB has a proportional/manual mode: manual mode; pulse multiplier with memory (1xn-M); pulse multiplier (1xn); pulse divider (1:n).
Service relay on the output in relation to the input of low level chemicals.

PRIMING (100% flow) is possible in all measuring modes by pressing and holding the right and left arrows simultaneously.
The dosing pump is supplied with a level control. When the chemical tank is empty, the display shows AL1 and the pump goes into stand-by mode. The level control has a 5 second delay. Proportional dosing via a contact water meter is a regulated form of dosing control. It is used as a chemical feed into the water pipes of simple industrial processes and private applications. The flow rate of the pump depends on the back pressure in the pressure line (please check the flow rate in comparison to the pressure diaphragm) and on the physical properties of the chemical to be dosed. In general, the flow rate of the pump is lower when the back pressure to which the pump is exposed.
