Corrosion on steel and grey cast iron in machine parts and products is a frequent side effect of a whole series of faults in the cleaner or coolant medium. The follow-up costs are often considerable.
With the profluid® CorrSet the corrosion properties of these fluids can be tested outside of a laboratory in about 2 hours. Also for the laboratory, the completed test set is a welcome relief. The test is based on the well-known grey cast iron swarf test DIN 51360-2.
The practical box contains 11 ready-to-use sets that can be used directly, including scissors and pipettes. You only have to take the sample yourself. Of course, this also includes a simple instruction manual including an evaluation scheme.

Time and cost savings
The known examination of the liquids used is carried out according to DIN 51360-2 with grey cast iron chips (GG25). Usually the examination is carried out in a laboratory. The necessary (time) expenditure for providing the test equipment is considerable. With the profluid CorrSet the result is available about 2 hours after sampling.
