• Pi: Flow resistance per meter (based on pure water, the inner diameter of the suction pipe should be at least equal to that of the pump). Calculate the flow resistance per meter as follows: Pi = Pid (or Pis) x specific gravity x pipe length (m) x (pump inner diameter : pipe inner diameter)2 (MPa)
• The factory setting for suction speed is 100%. Reduce the speed for viscous or outgassing media to avoid cavitation. The suction speed is needed to control the maximum flow rate. e.g.: at a suction speed of 75%, the maximum flow rate is also 75% (45 l/h for an IX-C060)
• When conveying viscous media, the pumping capacity may be lower. This must be taken into account when selecting the pump size. In addition, the calibration accuracy also decreases at viscosities above 500 cP (mPas). A revision of the pipework may be necessary. Please contact us for viscosities above 1000 cP (mPas).
• Suitable pulsation dampers: Capacities are based on Iwaki standard damper sizes. Please contact us for more information.
• High accuracy: ± 1 % (For the IX-C150S6, a larger deviation occurs at a flow rate of 1.0 l/h or less. For the IX-C060S6, this is the case at 0.4 l/h or less).
• Media temperature range: 0 - 50ºC (TC/TE), 0 - 80ºC (S6) / no change in viscosity, no solidification, no solids Precise calibration may not be possible for media temperatures above 60ºC and discharge pressures above 0.8 MPa. For optimum accuracy, calibrate the pump below these parameters.

Note 1: The IX doses a preset volume per pulse in batch mode. Factory settings are 6.25 ml (C060) and 15.6 ml (C150). The volume per pulse varies during programming. After calibration, the setting can also be changed, but should be remeasured.
